Roger Wehr, nicknamed “Bitcoin Jesus” for promoting the cryptocurrency to the masses, agreed with Ilon Musk, who praised the potential of the Dogecoin (DOGE) token meme.
DOGE is much better than [bitcoin]. It’s cheaper and more reliable. If I had to pick three [bitcoin] competitors, I would name Dogecoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash,” Ver said in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to Roger, the “father of cryptocurrencies” cannot claim to be an ideal payment instrument because of the high transaction fees. Therefore, in 2017, Wehr began to “sink” for the Bitcoin fork Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which managed to meet the hopes of the cryptocurrency evangelist.
As of April 29, the average fee for a bitcoin blockchain money transfer is $1.62, while the BCH network is just $0.0035.
“Bitcoin Jesus” also commented on Ilon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Ver is confident that under the guidance of the legendary engineer, the social network will become more attractive to users. Commenting on the deal, Musk called Twitter “a digital town square where issues vital for the future of humanity are discussed”.
