A crypto investor accused of breaking into the apartment of Terraform Labs co-founder and CEO Do Kwon has been detained by Seoul police, Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported.
The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, entered the apartment complex where Kwon’s wife lives last week, ringing the doorbell with the intention of breaking into the apartment.
Before Kwon was at the center of the massive collapse of the cryptocurrency Terra and its digital coin counterpart Luna. A month after hitting a record high of $119, the price of Luna has all but zeroed out, and Terra is trading around 14 cents.
I lost 2 to 3 billion won ($2.3 million),” the suspect told reporters, calling for Kwon to be held accountable for the project’s collapse.
The investor also called on Kwon to apologize to the more than 200,000 investors who lost their savings. The detainee also claims that there are people who have committed suicide because of the fall in the price of Stablecoin.
Kwon recently said on his blog that Terraform Labs is working to keep Terra’s blockchain and ecosystem intact despite the cryptocurrency’s collapse.
